How to send an online payment link and get paid faster

· 1 min read

Waiting on bank transfers slows down cash flow. With VynSales you can send customers a link that lets them pay an invoice online.

1. Connect your payment gateway

Go to Settings → Payment gateway and connect your own account — VynSales supports Stripe, iPay88, and Billplz. Your credentials are encrypted and used only to process your customers' payments; there's no platform markup on the rail.

2. Toggle sandbox while testing

Each gateway has a sandbox switch so you can run a test payment before going live. Flip it off when you're ready for real transactions.

3. Send the payment link

Open an issued invoice and share its payment link. The customer pays through your gateway, and the result flows back to VynSales automatically.

4. Payments reconcile themselves

When the gateway confirms payment, VynSales settles the allocation against the invoice — status-guarded and amount-checked, so a webhook retry never double-counts. Outstanding balances update in real time.

No gateway? Record manually

If you don't connect a gateway, you can still record bank transfers and cash manually against invoices.
