How to track leads through your sales pipeline

Deals stall when nobody can see where each prospect sits. The VynSales leads module gives your team one pipeline from first contact to closed.

1. Capture the lead

Create a lead under Leads → New with the contact and company details. Leads are separate from customers, so your prospect list stays clean until a deal is real.

2. Move it through the stages

Progress each lead through the pipeline: lead → qualified → proposal → won or lost. The pipeline view shows every deal by stage so nothing goes quiet.

3. Use lead scoring

Lead scoring highlights which prospects are worth attention first, so reps spend time on deals likely to close rather than chasing cold ones.

4. Convert a won lead

When a lead is won, turn it into a customer and start quoting — the quote-to-cash flow takes it from there.

5. Work it from the field

Reps can update leads, log visits, and check in on location from the mobile app, so the pipeline stays current without anyone going back to a desk.
